On Tuesday night (24), the red-black delegation landed in Montevideo for the duel against Peñarol, which takes place this Thursday (26), at 19 pm (Brasília time), at the Campeón del Siglo stadium. The match is valid for the second leg of the Libertadores quarterfinals.

This Wednesday, coach Tite will lead the final training session at Ciudad Desportiva LS, a training center owned by Uruguayan Luis Suárez. After recovering from fibrosis in his right thigh, forward Gabi traveled with the team and is available for the match.

To advance to the next stage, the Mais Querido team needs to win by two goals. If they win by one goal, the match goes to penalties. If they qualify, it will be the seventh time the Rubro-Negro will compete in the semifinal stage of the Libertadores.
