Flamengo arrives in São Paulo to decide classification for the Copa do Brasil final

Early in the evening this Saturday (19), Flamengo landed in São Paulo for the decisive game of the Copa do Brasil that is worth a place in the final. Tomorrow (20), Rubro-Negro takes to the field at Neo Química Arena, at 16 pm, to face Corinthians in the second leg of the semifinals of the national competition. As they won the first leg 1-0, at Maracanã, Mengão will have the advantage of a draw to advance to the decision.

Upon arriving in São Paulo, the red-and-black squad was greeted with a celebration by some fans gathered in front of the hotel where the delegation will be staying. Before leaving, coach Filipe Luís led a tactical drill to determine the starting eleven and concluded the preparation with a penalty practice session at Ninho do Urubu.

If they qualify, the Mais Querido will become the team with the most Copa do Brasil final appearances. Currently, Flamengo and Grêmio share the top spot, having appeared in nine finals. Flamengo won the title in 1990, 2006, 2013, and 2022.

TV Globo, Sportv, and Premiere will broadcast the match live exclusively. FlaTV and FlaTV+ will be live from 13 p.m. (FlaTV+) for pre-game coverage. Once kick-off begins at 16 p.m., the broadcast will be audio-only, with commentary and commentary by all Flamengo fans.
