Flamengo begins preparations for the grand final

By Flamengo Archive - inAfter beating Fluminense 1-0 and securing a spot in the Taça Rio final, the Flamengo squad returned to training on Tuesday afternoon at Gávea. The team began preparing for the grand final against Botafogo, which will be held on Sunday at the Maracanã.
Coach Cuca led a technical drill for the players. The Flamengo manager divided the squad into three teams, which faced each other on a reduced-size field. The objective of the activity was to practice ball control, marking, and finishing.
Full-back Everton Silva, who was ruled out of the Fla-Flu derby due to groin pain, underwent physiotherapy in the gym. Jônatas, who is experiencing muscle pain, also did separate work.
