\ \ \ \ \ \ Flamengo kicked off the fight for the second Copa Libertadores da América title on the right foot last Wednesday (24.02). The 2-0 score against Universidad Católica, from Chile, was literally marked by the brilliance of a right foot, from right back Léo Moura.

In a stunning performance, the player scored a stunning free kick and set up the play that led to Adriano's goal. But it wasn't just the right-back who shone in the match. With midfielder Willians's red card just two minutes into the match, the entire team showed its true Flamengo spirit.

Perhaps inspired by the 1981 champions (Leandro, Adílio, Mozer, Carlos Alberto and Chiquinho), invited by president Patrícia Amorim to watch Flamengo's debut in the Libertadores, the players made the fans who were present proud.

With the result, Flamengo now occupies first place in group 8 of the competition. The Rubro-negro's next match will be on Wednesday (10.03), against Caracas, in the Venezuelan capital.
