It's been 120 years of joy and love for the red and black colors. And you're a part of it; after all, Flamengo's strength comes from its more than 40 million fans, spread across Brazil and the world. To celebrate this historic date, the Most Beloved plays against Orlando City at 3:30 pm this Sunday (15/11) at Maracanã. Find out how to secure your ticket.
In addition to the main match, the friendly features a special program starting at 12:50 p.m. Fans who arrive early—gates open at 12:30 p.m.—will enjoy a preliminary match between the Fla Master team and Flamengo artists. There will be tributes to club idols and much more. It's the perfect program for the entire Flamengo family! Be sure to come with your loved ones and those who love Flamengo.

On the day of the match, red-black fans can buy their tickets at the Maracanã ticket office, until the end of the first half, and at the Gávea social headquarters, from 10 am to 13 pm. Fan members pay from R$10, check the prices:
North and South: R$40 / R$20 (half price)
Fan member: R$ 20 / R$ 10 (half price)
Tradition fan club: R$ 30/ R$ 15 (half price)
East and West: R$60 / R$30 (half)

Flamengo has never faced a team from MLS, the American professional league, at Maracanã. However, in 1977, the New York Cosmos, a legendary team featuring Beckenbauer, Carlos Alberto Torres, and Pelé, came to Maracanã for a friendly match. The presence of these three stars on the field was not enough to stop the Rubro-Negro, who, with goals from Luiz Paulo, Tita, and Zico (2), won 4-1. Flamengo fielded Canterele (Roberto), Toninho Baiano (Ramirez), Nelson, Dequinha (Gideoni), and Júnior; Merica, Adilio (Valdo), Zico (Tita), and Osni; Claudio Adão, and Luiz Paulo. The two teams faced each other again in 1982, in the farewell match of "Capita" Carlos Alberto Torres. In New York, Zico, Wilsinho and Júnior scored Flamengo's goals in the match, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
Flamengo has played 12 matches on American soil, winning 7 and drawing 2. However, most of these matches were against Mexican teams. In addition to the aforementioned clash with the Cosmos, in 1985 Flamengo played against San Jose and won 3-0, with goals from Vinicius, Paulo Henrique, and Ronaldo. In 1990, the American national team was no match for the "Mais Querido" (The Most Beloved), which, with a goal from Fernando, won 1-0 at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
