Flamengo has officially signed right-back João Lucas, a standout player for Bangu in this year's Campeonato Carioca. The player has signed a contract with the club until the end of 2021 and will soon be available to coach Abel Braga. In an interview with the Official Website, the player expressed his happiness at signing with the Rubro-Negro.
"Expectations are the best possible at Flamengo. It's a huge honor and pleasure to wear this jersey, which so many stars have worn. The fans are the biggest and most beautiful in Brazil. I hope to live up to expectations and make my mark on Flamengo's history," he said.
