Flamengo has signed another reinforcement for the 2017 season: midfielder Rômulo, who joins from Spartak Moscow. The 26-year-old player from Piauí was discovered by Vasco and trained in the youth ranks of Porto (PE).

The athlete previously worked with the club's executive director of football, Rodrigo Caetano, in the youth academy when he was in charge of Cruzmaltino's football. The midfielder was sold to the Russian club in 2012 and has now been repatriated by the club.
