The addition of defender Fabio Luciano and the inclusion of 20-year-old midfielder Rômulo will be the biggest changes to Flamengo's squad for Saturday's match at 18:10 p.m. against Náutico at Maracanã Stadium, in the 19th round of the Brazilian Championship. Coach Joel Santana, who led a tactical training session on Friday afternoon at CT Ninho do Urubu in Vargem Grande, also decided to change the formation. The team will play in the traditional 4-4-2.

"Unless something goes wrong, the team that will take the field is the one that trained. Fábio Luciano is an experienced player that everyone knows, and Rômulo is a young player I've been watching for some time. He has a lot of potential and everything he needs to do very well at Flamengo," the coach analyzed.

Even though he acknowledges that he is not in full physical shape, defender Fábio Luciano said he will do his best to help the team start a comeback in the Brazilian Championship.

"I hadn't played in four months, and I didn't have much time to get back into shape physically. But the fans can be sure that, even if I'm not 100% physically, my heart will be 100% on the field, aiming to do my best for the team. I've been here for two weeks and I feel like I've been here for a year, such is the affection I've been treated with. I want to repay all of that by playing my best."

The team's lineup includes Bruno, Leonardo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Rômulo, Cristian, Ibson, and Roger; and Renato Augusto and Leonardo. If the club secures a suspension for striker Souza this Friday, he may play in Leonardo's place.
