Clube de Regatas do Flamengo held several meetings with the relevant security agencies and local authorities to define the logistical process for the transfer of the Biggest Fan Base in the World to Peñarol's Campeón del Siglo stadium for the Conmebol Libertadores match this Wednesday (8). We are proud to say that the behavior of the Nação Rubro-Negra was exemplary and we thank the competence and seriousness of the local police throughout the day.

One of the club's requests was that ticket sales not be made at physical locations in Montevideo for security reasons. With the support of CONMEBOL and the Uruguayan police, online sales were made possible for the section reserved for the red-and-black fans. One of the local authorities' concerns was ensuring that only Brazilians could purchase these tickets. Therefore, an official ID was required for all purchases.

Flamengo spared no effort to ensure the safety of its fans who were in Uruguay to support Mengão in their bid to reach the round of 16. The club, in agreement with local authorities, organized several buses that departed from Chincheta Square in Ciudad de La Costa, Montevideo, escorted by Uruguayan police to ensure everyone arrived at the match venue safely and comfortably. It's worth noting that the only way to access the stadium's visiting section was to follow the procedure agreed upon with the authorities. All Flamengo fans respected and followed the guidelines exemplarily.

We congratulate the entire nation who were present at the Campeón del Siglo Stadium cheering on the Mais Querido and representing the more than 40 million fans during the 90 minutes. As always, you put on a show in the stands and made Flamengo even stronger, playing a key role in their qualification. The Biggest Fanbase, the Biggest in the World.
