On Thursday night (16), Flamengo and adidas launched another Sacred Mantle. The so-called Special Mantle was revealed in a ceremony at the brand's official store, at the club's headquarters, in Gávea. The event was attended by invited club members and past stars: Adílio, Andrade, Julio Cesar Uri Geller and Nélio were present and were the first to receive the new uniform. Those present were able to take photos in a booth, where, wearing the Mantle, their image would be like that of the players featured in the launch poster - Juan, Guerrero and Ederson.

The new jersey is gray, with an orange crest and shoulder stripes, as well as five-color accents. These colors are found in small dots across the front, sleeves, and back of the jersey, and are the key differentiator of the new uniform. The colors represent the five continents—where Mengão has shone, shines, and always will shine.
