In the 22nd round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo drew 1-1 with América-MG on Sunday morning (26), at Independência, in Belo Horizonte. The Rubro-Negro's goal was scored by Michael, who came on very well in the second half. Now, Mais Querido turns the key and focuses on the second leg of the Libertadores semifinals, against Barcelona de Guayaquil, in Ecuador.

The game
The match started evenly, with Flamengo trying to pass the ball from defense to attack. The first good chance fell to Bruno Henrique, who spotted the goalkeeper out of position and tried to chip him. Cavichioli recovered and made the save.

As the game progressed, the red-and-black team took control of the action and began to dominate the attacking field, exchanging passes to try to open up América's defense. The first half was quite lively, but ended with the score tied at zero.

In the second half, Rubro-Negro continued to assert themselves and try to create attacking plays. In the 13th minute, Diego delivered a good pass to Pedro, who turned and struck hard. Cavichioli made the save, but the assistant referee had already flagged for offside.

With Renato Gaúcho's substitutions—Andreas for Diego and Michael for Vitinho—the team gained momentum and found more space to attack. In the 43rd minute, Mengão finally broke the deadlock with a stunning goal! Michael raced down the right, lined up, and passed to Pedro, who cleared the ball and passed it to Michael, who slotted it past the goalkeeper: 1-0.

At 49', América tied the match with Alê, who rose highest in the area and headed the ball into Gabriel Batista's corner: 1-1.

Next appointment
The Most Beloved returns to the field next Wednesday (29) to face Barcelona de Guayaquil-EQU, at 21:30 pm, at the Monumental Stadium in Barcelona, for the second leg of the Libertadores semi-finals.
