Flamengo and the Km Solidário app join forces for a Fla-Flu campaign

Kilometers covered by the red-black players in the classic will be converted into donations to the Ronald McDonald House

Next Sunday (4), Mengão players will have another reason to sweat the Mantle! Flamengo has teamed up with the Km Solidário app and, for every kilometer covered by the athletes on the field, R$40,00 will be donated to Casa Ronald McDonald, a non-profit institution that cares for children and adolescents with cancer.

The app, the club's partner in this initiative, converts kilometers donated during physical activities into donations to partner institutions. Simply access the app. @kmsolidarioapp, choose your preferred institution, start your physical activity, and that's it! Download the Km Solidário app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), follow the action, and help yourself too!

"Having several athletes donating together and using our visibility as Flamengo to promote the platform will result in many donations for the children who are so bravely fighting cancer. We're calling on the nation to participate too! To count the kilometers, walking, running, cycling, and swimming are all eligible," said Angela Machado, Flamengo's statutory director of Social Responsibility.

"We are thrilled with this partnership with Flamengo, transforming kilometers into donations for Casa Ronald RJ. This is yet another example of how sport can impact and transform lives," said André Kok, co-founder of Km Solidário.

At the end of the match, Flamengo's Professional Football Performance Analysis team will send the report with the data to Km Solidário.

About Km Solidário
Km Solidário's mission is to combat sedentarism and amplify good social practices through an app that connects people who practice physical activities with people, projects, and companies that seek to contribute to reducing social and economic inequality in Brazil.

We also believe that donating is good for both the donor and the recipient (in fact, it is scientifically proven that there is a causal relationship between the act of donating and mental health) and, through Km Solidário, we offer a new way to donate, using kilometers traveled in physical activities to impact and transform lives.
