In a clash that had not taken place since 2019, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Cruzeiro on Saturday night (27), at Maracanã, in the eighth round of the Brasileirão. Ayrton Lucas scored the red-black goal in the first half.

The game
The match started with a lot of action, and after just three minutes, Cruzeiro opened the scoring with Marlon, who received a backheel pass from Bruno Rodrigues and hit the ball hard into the back of the net: 1-0. Flamengo will have to make up for lost time in the opening minutes.

In the 14th minute, Pedro received the ball inside the box and was brought down by the defender. After reviewing the VAR, the referee awarded the penalty. Gabi stepped up to take the shot and hit the goalkeeper's left post. The Red-Blacks missed the chance to equalize.
