Flamengo is defeated by Atlético-MG 4-0 at Mineirão

In the 20th round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo lost to Atlético-MG 4-0 on Sunday night (08), at Mineirão. Now, Rubro-Negro turns the key and focuses on the first game of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil, next Wednesday (11) against São Paulo, at Maracanã.
The game
The first half started with a bang and, after just three minutes, Atlético-MG opened the scoring with Eduardo Sasha: 1-0. Then, in the 7th minute, the Minas Gerais team extended their lead with Keno: 2-0. After conceding two early goals, Flamengo pushed forward and created some opportunities to reduce the score, but the home team finished the first half with the advantage.
In the second half, Flamengo missed an incredible opportunity to reduce the deficit early on. Pedro headed the ball from a cross, but the goalkeeper saved it. Bruno Henrique's rebound hit the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Atlético-MG scored their third through Eduardo Sasha, making it 3-0. In the 38th minute, Zaracho scored the fourth for the Minas Gerais team, sealing the victory.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Wednesday (11) to face São Paulo, at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil.
