Flamengo is the only team to score in every Brasileirão match

With a goal from Thuler, the team confirms its unique record in the current edition

Leader and most positive attack. If these weren't already credentials that explain Flamengo's current position in the Brazilian Championship, the last round before the World Cup break produced another: they are the only team of the 20 to have scored in every match so far. Their goal difference of 14, double that of second-place Atlético Mineiro, was already irrefutable proof of the team's offensive prowess. And closing the first 12 rounds with goals in every match is just another feat for this team that continues to break records in the current edition.

Until the tenth round, Mengão was tied with Vitória in this statistic. However, while they drew 0-0 with Corinthians, the Mais Querido beat Paraná Clube 2-0 at Maracanã, maintaining their 100% record in goals per game. With the efforts of Diego and Felipe Vizeu, there was no longer any doubt that they had the most accurate attack in the competition. If not the one that scored the most, they were the only one that consistently made an impact.

With four goals, Vinicius Junior is the team's top scorer in the Brasileirão. Diego, Lucas Paquetá, Henrique Dourado, and Felipe Vizeu follow closely behind with three goals each. It's worth noting that Vizeu will no longer play for Flamengo due to his transfer to Udinese. Everton Ribeiro has two goals, while Geuvânio, Guerrero, and Thuler round out the list with one each.

Against Ceará, Flamengo scored its highest number of goals in the 12 rounds: 3-XNUMX, with two from Vinicius and one from Diego. In the other matches, the team did not score more than two goals, highlighting the precision already shown here previously. It's a team that attacks to score. And even when the frontcourt isn't working, other players step up. This was the case with Thuler, who climbed to the third floor and scored the equalizer against Palmeiras.

Flamengo will now have a break for the World Cup. And their attack is likely to undergo some changes. In addition to Felipe Vizeu, Vinicius Junior could leave for Real Madrid. Lincoln is one of the options at center forward, while Marlos could play on the left. Lucas Paquetá himself has already been used—with great success—up front. It will be up to Mauricio Barbieri to find the solution, but it's a fact that Flamengo's squad will have plenty of options to work with. This is in addition to the opening of the transfer window.
