In a duel of the fifth round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo drew with RB Bragantino, 1-1, on Saturday night (4), at the Nabi Abi Chedid stadium, in Bragança Paulista-SP. Bruno Henrique was the author of the goal that made everything equal in the match. Now, Rubro-Negro focuses on the Libertadores in the clash with Palestino, in Chile.

The game
The match began with Bragantino taking the initiative to attack. In the 10th minute, Flamengo created a threat for the first time. Pedro received the ball on the left, cut inside, and shot, but the goalkeeper saved.

In the 21st minute, defender Luan Cândido was sent off for a foul on De La Cruz, but after a VAR review, the referee called a foul on the red-and-black player early in the play. Bragantino then opened the scoring in Bragança Paulista. Pedro Henrique headed the ball into the net from a corner, making it 1-0. The home team held the lead in the first half.

Early in the second half, Flamengo wasted a great opportunity. Pedro passed to De La Cruz, who burst into the box from his own half, smashed the ball into Cleiton's crossbar.

In the 33rd minute, Mengão came out of the woodwork and leveled the score! De La Cruz sent a beautiful pass to Bruno Henrique, who controlled the ball and beat the goalkeeper to tie the match at 1-1.

In the final minutes, Flamengo went on the attack to try to turn the game around, but the game ended in a draw in Bragança Paulista.

Rubro-Negro returns to the field next Tuesday (7) to face Palestino, at 21 pm (Brasília time), at the Francisco Rumoroso stadium, in Chile, for the fourth round of Group E of the Libertadores.
