After the great victory in the classic against Botafogo, Flamengo returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship. This Wednesday (25), Rubro-Negro faces Santos, at 21:45 pm, at Vila Belmiro. The duel is valid for the 15th round of the competition.
Flamengo remains top of the Brasileirão with nine wins, three draws, and two losses in 14 matches. "Mais Querido" has scored 23 goals and conceded eight.
"It will be dangerous to face Santos at Vila Belmiro. We have to go in with all our attention and respect, but at the same time, we have to know what we want. Santos deserves our full attention, and right now we can't choose matches. This one won't decide our future, but it will help us a lot on our journey. It's a very important game, and we'll do everything we can to beat them. That's our mindset," said number 10 Diego.
