Flamengo and São Paulo face off in the Brazilian Championship.

Sunday (2) is another duel day at Ilha do Urubu! Facing São Paulo, Flamengo will be looking for their fourth victory in their new home and will count on great support from the Nation. The match is scheduled for 16pm and is valid for the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship.

After beating Santos 2-0 in the Copa do Brasil midweek, Flamengo returned to Ninho do Urubu and began preparations to face the São Paulo team. This Thursday (29), Rubro-Negro faced Resende in a friendly match and won 6-0.

The last time the teams met was in the 2016 Brazilian Championship, at Morumbi Stadium, when the score ended 0-0. Playing in Rio de Janeiro, Flamengo and São Paulo have faced each other 22 times, with Flamengo holding the advantage, having won 13 times, drawn four, and lost five.

In the first round of the last Brazilian Championship, the teams drew at the Mané Garrincha stadium in Brasília.
