Flamengo faces, this Friday (05/10), the América team, in a game valid for the 1st round of the return leg of the 2007 Rio de Janeiro Futsal Championship. The match will be at 20 pm, at the América gym, in Tijuca.

Flamengo is looking for a win and the lead. The red-and-black team is in second place, just behind Macaé. América is in fifth place in the table, but is considered a very dangerous team by its players and coaching staff.

Flamengo and América faced off in the first round of the competition, and the red-and-black club won 1-0, with a goal from winger and captain Dudu. The match was marked by a tight match between the two teams.

In the last game of the competition, Flamengo thrashed Drogarias do Povo 8-0. The goals in the game were scored by Sixel, Gabriel, André, Diego and Marquinho, and the team had 3 more own goals.
