In the 21st round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo drew with Atlético-GO 1-1 on Saturday night (14), at Maracanã. The Mais Querido's goal was scored by Bruno Henrique at the end of the first half.

The game
The first half started fairly evenly, with a lot of back-and-forth in midfield. Flamengo held possession for longer and exchanged passes in Atlético-GO's half. In the 21st minute, Flamengo created their first good move. Vitinho passed the ball to Renê on the left, who passed to Thiago Maia at the edge of the box. The midfielder fired a powerful shot that hit the crossbar.

In the 35th minute, Renê delivered a good pass to Bruno Henrique, who controlled the ball and fired a powerful shot toward goal. Jean jumped and sent it out for a corner. Late in the first half, Mengão opened the scoring. Rubro-Negro returns to the field next Wednesday (18) to face São Paulo, at 21:30 pm, at Morumbi. The match is valid for the second leg of the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals. Mais Querido needs to win by two goals to qualify for the semifinals. In case of a one-goal victory, the game will be decided on penalties.
