All was equal at Arena Corinthians. In the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo and Corinthians tied 1-1. Clayson opened the scoring for the home team from the penalty spot. Gabigol, the championship's top scorer, equalized. 

First time

The first half was fairly even, but Flamengo's most dangerous play came early on. Diego Ribas took a shot from outside the box, and Cássio made a fine save. Léo Duarte also had a good chance, but his header went wide.

Second time

The second half remained evenly matched. Corinthians opened the scoring in the 16th minute with Clayson's penalty. Mengão equalized in the 45th minute with Gabigol, who capitalized on Cássio's rebound after Willian Arão's header. The score remained 1-1. Mengão reached 21 points and is third in the standings.

Flamengo returns to the field on Wednesday in Ecuador, where they face Emelec in the first game of the Libertadores round of 16.
