In the penultimate round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo drew 2-2 with Juventude on Wednesday night (9), at the Alfredo Jaconi stadium, in Caxias do Sul. Matheuzinho, before the first minute of the game, and Werton, in the 45th minute of the second half, scored the red-black goals.

The game
Less than a minute into the match, Mengão opened the scoring in Caxias do Sul! Rodinei crossed with his left foot, Cebolinha set it up, and Matheuzinho, playing on the right wing, slotted it home to make it 0-1.

After the goal, Juventude tried to put pressure on the red-and-black team, which was waiting for an opportunity to counterattack. In the 21st minute, Erick took a free kick from the right, and Fabrício Bruno rose to the far post and headed dangerously.

The Mais Querido continued to search for a second goal. In the 29th minute, Cebolinha received the ball at speed, took it to the byline, and crossed into the six-yard box. Victor Hugo fired a high shot, but the ball grazed the post. In the 35th minute, Juventude tied the game with Paulo Henrique, who sprinted forward and fired a cross that left no one able to save: 1-1.

With three minutes left in the first half, the Gaucho team turned the score around with Jadson, who headed the ball over goalkeeper Hugo: 2-1.

Rubro-Negro returned for the second half playing the ball in attack, trying to penetrate Juventude's box, which was closing in on the defense. In the 24th minute, Erick took a free kick into the box, Pablo passed it to the middle, but Matheus França couldn't head it.

During the second half, coach Dorival Júnior changed his team and brought on some of the "Garotos do Ninho" players. With so much persistence, Flamengo equalized in the final minutes! Ayrton Lucas attempted a right-footed shot, but the ball fell to Werton, who controlled the ball with his back to the goal, turned, and struck firmly. The ball slipped under the goalkeeper and went in. It was the striker's first goal for the senior team, making the match 2-2.
