In the second leg of the Libertadores quarterfinals, Flamengo drew 0-0 with Peñarol in Uruguay, ending their participation in the continental competition. Now, Flamengo turns its attention to the Brasileirão and the Copa do Brasil.

The game
Needing to win by two goals, Flamengo started the match by attacking Peñarol. In the first minute, Alex Sandro passed to Gerson, who crossed into the box. Plata headed the ball into the corner, but the goalkeeper saved it.
