Flamengo draws with Vasco in the Brazilian Championship
At Maracanã, Clássico dos Milhões ended goalless. The team returns to the field against Flu on Wednesday.

On Flamengo Fans' Day, Flamengo and Vasco played the 380th Clássico dos Milhões in history this Saturday at Maracanã, with the match ending in a 0-0 draw. The result kept Flamengo in seventh place, and the team now turns its focus to the second leg of the CONMEBOL South American Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday at Maracanã. In the first leg, a 1-0 victory gave Mengão the advantage of a draw.

Even in the intense heat and on a stifling pitch, Flamengo started out on top against Vasco, pressing their rivals on their own half and fiercely contesting the ball. The first good chance fell to Flamengo. In the fifth minute, Arão spotted Pará well on the right. The full-back crossed, and before the ball reached Everton at the penalty spot, the defense cleared it.
After a pressured start, the team eased off and began passing the ball around to find the best option. The best plays came down the right flank, with Arão, Éverton Ribeiro, and Pará triangulating.
