In the 16th round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo drew with RB Bragantino 1-1, on Thursday night (15), at Maracanã. The Rubro-Negro's goal was scored by Lincoln, in the second half. With many absences, Mais Querido showed a lot of fight on the field and, by little, almost managed to turn the score around.

The game
In the opening moments of the first half, Flamengo valued possession, exchanging passes in Bragantino's midfield to try to break through the São Paulo team's defense. In the 16th minute, Lincoln received the ball from Renê on the left, burst into the box, and shot, but Cleiton saved.

With the bulk of the game, Flamengo relied on plays down the wings, particularly the left. Bragantino, in turn, pressed the red-and-blacks' ball high, finding space on the wings but struggling to create depth. Without many chances created, the first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

In the opening seconds of the second half, Bragantino went on the attack and scored through Claudinho to make it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Flamengo created a dangerous opportunity. Everton Ribeiro made a good play and passed to Vitinho, who was just outside the box, for a low shot. Cleiton made a good save.  

In the 24th minute, Mengão equalized! Isla was released on the right and crossed into the box. The ball fell to Lincoln, who headed it into the back of the net: 1-1. Needing a win, the red-and-black team rushed forward in search of a second goal. Despite their efforts, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

And now?
Mengão returns to the field next Sunday (18) to face Corinthians, at 16 pm, at Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo.
