Flamengo drew 2-2 with Santos at Maracanã this Sunday (2.08). With the intense support of the Red-Black Nation, the team played an excellent first half but allowed the opponent to react and conceded two goals after the break. Now, the Mais Querido goes to Campinas to face Ponte Preta.

Flamengo started the match with midfielder Alan Patrick in the starting lineup alongside Éverton and Canteros and Márcio Araújo in the defensive midfield. With the playmaker, Flamengo began to dominate the attacking half and score under pressure. The match also marked the return of Paulo Victor and the introduction of defender César Martins alongside Wallace.

The team had good chances, but only managed to open the scoring in the 39th minute. Alan Patrick unleashed a beautiful shot from outside the box, which goalkeeper Vanderlei couldn't stop. Two minutes later, Canteros accurately passed to Emerson, and the striker made no mistake: 2-0. "I always want to help. Nobody knew I was going to play, but the coach gave me the opportunity," the midfielder revealed after leaving the game.

Six minutes into the second half, Ricardo Oliveira scored with a header. Twenty minutes later, Lucas Lima scored a beautiful shot to equalize the match. Flamengo once again dominated the game and had chances to score a third until the final minute, but were thwarted by the Santos goalkeeper's excellent saves.
