In the sixth round of the Cariocão, Flamengo drew with Boavista 1-1 on Saturday night (27), at the Elcyr Resende stadium, in Bacaxá. The Rubro-Negro's goal was scored by Vitinho in the first half. Even with the draw, Mais Querido remains as leader of the championship.

The game
The first half began with Flamengo taking the initiative, exchanging passes in the attacking half. In the eleventh minute, Hugo Moura unleashed a rocket from midfield, which hit the crossbar. Flamengo dominated the match, but it was Boavista who opened the scoring with Jean's beautiful shot from the edge of the box: 1-0.

It didn't take long for Mengão to level the score! In the 28th minute, Michael received the ball on the left, crossed into the box, and Vitinho, in the right place, finished into the back of the net: 1-1. Ten minutes later, the ball fell to Michael in the box, who swayed past his marker and fired a powerful left-footed shot, forcing Klever to make a good save. The first half ended all square.

The Mais Querido returned for the second half attacking. Pepê shot from the edge of the box, but the goalkeeper saved. Five minutes in, Rubro-Negro created another great chance. Michael burst down the left and passed to Gabi in the box, who turned and shot over the bar.

In the 22nd minute, the red-and-black team missed a great opportunity to turn the score around. Michael won the challenge and passed to Rodrigo Muniz, who controlled the ball and shot just wide of the goalkeeper's left post. The red-and-black team fought to turn the game around until the end, but the game ended in a draw.

Next appointment
The Most Beloved returns to the field next Wednesday (31) to face Bangu, at 21 pm, at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, in Volta Redonda.
