Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that, in accordance with the provisions of FIFA transfer regulations, it has submitted the transfer order for the athlete Geuvânio Santos Silva on the opening date of the international window, 20/6/2017.
This Wednesday, 05/7/2017, the maximum period of 15 days provided for in the aforementioned regulation for sending the counter-order by the Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian ended.
Given the silence of the aforementioned Chinese club, the CRF forwarded to FIFA on this date the request for provisional registration of the athlete, which is expected to be granted in the coming days.
The attitude of Tianjin Quanjian, which signed a valid contract for the free transfer of the athlete with CRF, for a period of 18 months, will be subject to sporting and financial sanctions.
Furthermore, as soon as registration is granted, the CRF will request compensation from FIFA to the Chinese club for the period in which the athlete was prevented from playing for the professional team.
