This will be the teams' first meeting in the Brazilian Championship, as their last duel in the competition took place in 2012, when Flamengo emerged victorious 2-1 at the Serra Dourada stadium in Goiânia (GO).
Flamengo and Atlético-GO recently met in the Copa do Brasil, on 10/05, when the teams drew 0-0 at Maracanã. The return match is scheduled for next Wednesday (24).
