Just 90 minutes separate Flamengo from another international final. This Thursday, the Rubro-Negro faces Junior de Barranquilla in the playoff for qualification for the 2017 CONMEBOL South American Cup final, with a draw advantage, secured after the victory in Rio de Janeiro. But that means nothing to Flamengo, who will seek to dominate the match and secure the result.

Facing Junior in Barranquilla won't be an easy task. Their fans are expected to fill the Roberto Meléndez Metropolitan Stadium in the beautiful Colombian beach city. All 48 tickets have been sold. But for Flamengo, accustomed to facing tough opponents, this won't be a surprise. And according to midfielder Cuéllar, who knows the city, the fans, and the team very well, the key to securing the spot is for the "Mais Querido" to be focused on the field and ignore the sidelines.
"We have a very high-quality squad, but we have to maintain our concentration and desire to achieve this important result. We need to pay close attention to the weather. It's very hot and humid. We'll try to put in a great performance against a great team that has been playing well and secure qualification for Brazil. There will be pressure, because the fans will definitely fill the stadium. But we're used to that," he added.
