Today Mengão is on the field! This Wednesday (24), the red-black team climbs to the altitude of 3.600m in La Paz to face Bolívar, at 21:30 pm, at the Hernando Siles stadium. The match is valid for the third round of Group E of the Conmebol Libertadores. If they win the duel with the Bolivians, the Mais Querido will take the lead in their group.

After training last Tuesday (23), the red-black delegation continued their journey to Bolivia. Hours before the match, the squad will arrive in La Paz to feel the effects of the altitude as little as possible.

Coach Tite will have some key absences for the match. Athletes Allan, who has sickle cell disease that can impair high-altitude performance, and Léo Pereira, who has a viral infection, remained in Rio de Janeiro. Athletes Varela, Ayrton Lucas, Erick Pulgar, Arrascaeta, and Pedro were also not included in the squad, according to the coaching staff's plan.
