The duel against the Santa Catarina team is the famous 180-minute match. In a knockout format, the best team will qualify for the next stage and will face the winner of Real Garcilaso (PER) or Palestino (CHI). In the continental competition, as in the Copa do Brasil, the qualifying goal criterion applies. In other words, every goal scored at the opponent's home ground is crucial in the fight for a spot.
