Looking for their sixth consecutive win in the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo will face Palmeiras on Wednesday night (13), at 21 pm, at the opponent's stadium. This will be the last commitment of Mais Querido before the break for the 2018 Russia World Cup.
Midfielder Cuéllar gave a press conference the day before the match and stressed the importance of securing another victory to gain an advantage over their opponents.
"That's our idea. We want to build up that cushion for the decisive part of the Championship. It won't just be important in the Brazilian Championship, but also in the Copa do Brasil and the Libertadores. We respect Palmeiras, but we're going there to win. It won't be easy, but we're in first place and we're going to try to make them respect our leadership."

Flamengo x Palm Trees
In the history of the Brazilian Championship, the first match between Flamengo and Palmeiras took place on September 19, 1971, at the Morumbi stadium. On that occasion, Flamengo won 2-1, with goals from Samarone and Rogério.
Flamengo hasn't lost since May 13th, when they were defeated by Chapecoense 3-2 in Santa Catarina, in a match valid for the fifth round. Against Palmeiras, the Rubro-Negro will be defending an eight-game unbeaten streak (6 wins/2 draws), with six games in the Brazilian Championship and two in the Libertadores Cup.
