Flamengo faces Vasco in the search for another Campeonato Carioca title

In pursuit of another Campeonato Carioca title, Flamengo faces Vasco again, but this time the derby will take place at Maracanã. Vasco won the first leg 2-0 and has a solid advantage heading into the return leg. Kick-off will begin at 16 p.m. this Sunday.
The Nation has sold out tickets in advance, and once again the Maracanã will be packed with red-and-black fans. Only tickets remain for the opposing team's section.

During the week of preparation for the classic, full-back Renê gave a press conference at Ninho do Urubu and previewed this Sunday's classic (21).
"I think the strategy is to repeat what we did in the first game, going for the win from the first minute. With the same determination, we'll play a great game. We hope to have a good day on Sunday."
The number 6 spoke about the advantage gained in the first leg, but asked for extra attention to seek the title at Maracanã.
"We've got a good lead, but if we don't go in focused, the situation could change. We're talking and we're going to go for the title."

Flamengo vs Vasco
Flamengo, who won the first leg of the Carioca final 2-0 at Nilton Santos Stadium, is now defending its long unbeaten streak against Vasco. Flamengo hasn't lost to its rival in three years (or 11 matches, 3 wins/8 draws).
If they don't lose to Vasco in the second leg of the final, Flamengo will establish their longest unbeaten run against their rival in history.
