On the morning of this Saturday (2), Mengão concluded the preparation for the game against Athletico-PR, which will be held tomorrow (3), at 16 pm, at Maracanã. The confrontation, valid for the 23rd round of the Brazilian Championship, will have the presence of the Nação Rubro-Negra at the stadium.

Coach Renato Gaúcho and his assistant Alexandre Mendes led the final tactical training session ahead of this Sunday's match. The players also worked out in the gym. Yesterday (1), defender David Luiz underwent an imaging test, which revealed an injury to the adductor muscle in his left thigh. The athlete has already begun treatment.

Flamengo and Athletico-PR have faced each other 72 times, with the Rio de Janeiro club having the advantage. Flamengo has won 31 times, drawn 15, and lost 26 times. It's worth noting that the Paraná team will face the Mais Querido in the Copa do Brasil semifinals.
