This Thursday (18), Flamengo finalized the preparation for the match against Resende, which will be played tomorrow (19), at 21 pm, at Maracanã, for the fourth round of the Campeonato Carioca. For this game, Rubro-Negro will still use a team formed basically by athletes from the U-20, added by some players from the main squad.

In the afternoon, Mauricio Souza led a technical session and fine-tuned the final details for this Friday's match. Meanwhile, on the adjacent field, the main squad continued their preparations under the guidance of coach Rogério Ceni.

Flamengo and Resende have faced each other 13 times in the State Championship, with a clear advantage for Flamengo. Flamengo has won ten times, drawn one, and lost two. In the last meeting between the teams, Resende won 3-1 at Maracanã in February 2020.
