Flamengo ends preparations to face Atlético-MG in the Brazilian Super Cup

On Saturday morning (19), Flamengo held its last training session before traveling to Cuiabá, where it will play the Supercopa do Brasil final against Atlético-MG. The match between the last two Brazilian champions will be played tomorrow (20), at 16 pm, at Arena Pantanal. In case of victory, Mais Querido will win the competition for the third time.
Coach Paulo Sousa led a technical and tactical training session with the players. Afterwards, the Flamengo delegation headed to the airport, where they will depart for Cuiabá in the afternoon.
Flamengo and Atlético-MG have faced each other 118 times, with Flamengo holding the advantage. They have won 47 times, drawn 32, and lost 39. In their last match, Flamengo won 1-0 at the Maracanã, in the second round of the 2021 Brasileirão. Michael scored the winning goal for Flamengo.
