On Tuesday afternoon (20), Flamengo held its final training session before the match against Botafogo-PB, in the second leg of the Third Phase of the Copa do Brasil. The match will be played this Wednesday (21), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã. Rubro-Negro won the first leg 1-0 and will have the advantage of a draw to advance to the round of XNUMX of the competition. 

Coach Filipe Luís is expected to field a mixed team, resting some players for the game against Palmeiras on Sunday (25), for the Brasileirão. Substituted in the second half of the classic against Botafogo, Nico De La Cruz underwent an MRI scan after spraining his left knee. The exam ruled out surgical injuries and the player has already started treatment at the CT.
