Flamengo ends preparations to face Nova Iguaçu this Sunday
Match valid for the sixth round of Cariocão will be played at 19 pm, at Raulino de Oliveira

On Saturday morning (12), Flamengo finished preparing for the match against Nova Iguaçu, which will be held tomorrow (13), at 19 pm, at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, in Volta Redonda. The duel is valid for the sixth round of the Campeonato Carioca, where Mais Querido occupies fourth place with 10 points.
Coach Paulo Sousa led a technical and tactical training session with the Flamengo players. Goalkeeper coach Paulo Grilo worked intensively with Diego Alves, Hugo, and Matheus Cunha. Defender Fabrício Bruno, now registered with the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation), is eligible to make his debut in the team's jersey.
Flamengo and Nova Iguaçu have faced each other ten times, with Flamengo holding a significant advantage. They have won eight times, drawn once, and lost once. Last year, Flamengo defeated the team from the Baixada Fluminense region 1-0 at the Maracanã stadium. On that occasion, Max scored the winning goal in the final minute of the game.
