Flamengo ends preparations for the classic against Botafogo, for the Cariocão

Everything is ready for the second classic of the year! This Tuesday (22), Flamengo finalized the preparation for the match against Botafogo, which will be played tomorrow (23), at 20 pm, at the Nilton Santos stadium, for the eighth round of the Campeonato Carioca. Rubro-Negro is in third place with 16 points won.

Under the supervision of the physical training team, the red-and-black squad began training in the gym. Soon after, the athletes took to the field and completed technical and tactical training with Coach Paulo Sousa.

Flamengo and Botafogo have faced each other 384 times, with the Gávea club having the advantage. Flamengo has won 142 matches, drawn 126, and lost 116. In the last meeting between the teams, Botafogo defeated Flamengo 2-0 at Nilton Santos Stadium in last year's Cariocão Championship.
