Flamengo ends preparations for the duel against Corinthians, in the Libertadores

The second leg of the quarter-finals will be played this Tuesday (9), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã

All set! Flamengo finished this Monday (8), at Ninho do Urubu, the preparation for the match against Corinthians, which takes place tomorrow (9), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Conmebol Libertadores. The Mais Querido won the first leg 2-0 and can even lose by a goal difference to advance to the next stage.

Coach Dorival Júnior led a tactical activity to define the team that will take to the field this Tuesday.

Flamengo has a strong track record in advancing to the Copa Libertadores semifinals. In four of the five qualifying rounds in which they won the first leg by two or more goals, the red-and-black team advanced to the next stage.

- 8th final of 1993: 8x2 and 1x0 Minerven (qualified)
- 8th final of 2008: 4x2 and 0x3 América of Mexico (eliminated)
- 4 Quarterfinals: 2019x2 and 0x1 Internacional (qualified)

- 2021 Semifinal: 2x0 and 2x0 Barcelona de Guayaquil (qualified).
