Preparation complete! Flamengo held its final training session on Sunday morning (15), at Stockton University, before its debut in the Club World Cup. Mengão faces Espérance this Monday (16) at 22 pm (Brasília time), at Lincoln Financial Field Stadium, in Philadelphia, for the first round of Group D.
Coach Filipe Luís led a training session on the field to finalize the details for the debut. The good news came from Alex Sandro. After training separately on Saturday, the left-back took the field this Sunday and shouldn't pose a problem for the match. De La Cruz, who is currently in transition, also took the field, but trained separately.
Having recovered from the edema in his right knee, Plata is available for the match. Newly signed Jorginho could make his debut with the Sacred Mantle. After the training session, the red-and-black squad will head to Philadelphia. Later this Sunday, there will be a press conference with coach Filipe Luís, at the stadium where tomorrow's match will be held. Players Léo Pereira, Everton Cebolinha, and João Victor will be in the mixed zone for interviews.
