Flamengo ends preparation for duel against Ponte Preta
The squad worked hard this morning; the delegation heads to Campinas in the afternoon.
By Matheus Oliveira* - inThis Saturday (28), the red-black squad did their last training session before the game against Ponte Preta. In an activity closed to the press, Zé Ricardo led the technical and tactical training on the pitch of Field 1 at the George Helal Training Center, in Vargem Grande.
After the warm-up, the technical work began on a reduced-size field. The group was divided into two teams for the activity, which focused on movement and quick touches of the ball with a maximum of two touches. The activity was quite intense.
Immediately afterward, tactical training took place, still on the pitch at Field 1. The players were closely guided by Zé Ricardo throughout, with instructions on positioning and ball movement.
The group travels to Campinas in the afternoon, where they will face Ponte Preta at the Moisés Lucarelli Stadium. The match will start at 11 am this Sunday (29) and will be valid for the 4th round of the Brazilian Championship.
