Preparation complete! Mengão held this Tuesday (7), at Ninho do Urubu, the last training session before the duel against Grêmio, which will be played tomorrow (26), at 21:30 pm, at Arena do Grêmio, for the first leg of the Copa do Brasil semifinals. It is the 16th time that Mengão has reached this stage of the competition in history.

This morning, coach Jorge Sampaoli made final adjustments to the team that will start Wednesday's match. Gerson, suspended for a red card, and Erick Pulgar, recovering from an injury, will be out for the match in the South. The red-and-black delegation continues its journey to Porto Alegre later today.
Flamengo and Grêmio have faced each other 16 times (eight crosses) in the history of the Copa do Brasil. Both teams have advanced to the next stage four times. Flamengo has won seven matches, while Grêmio has drawn three, and Grêmio has won three.
