Flamengo ends preparations for the clash against Volta Redonda

The first game of the Carioca semifinals takes place this Saturday, at 21:05 pm, at Raulino de Oliveira

This Friday (30), at Ninho do Urubu, Flamengo held the last training session aiming at the first match of the semifinals of the Campeonato Carioca against Volta Redonda, which takes place tomorrow (01), at 21:05 pm, at the Raulino de Oliveira Stadium. As it finished in first place in the Taça Guanabara, Mais Querido will play with the advantage of a draw in both games.

Coach Rogério Ceni led a tactical training session on the training center's field. Defender Rodrigo Caio, who is continuing recovery and strengthening work on his right thigh, was not included in the match.

In the last meeting between the teams, played on April 24th, Flamengo prevailed, winning 2-1 at Maracanã Stadium in the final round of the Taça Guanabara. With goals from Michael and Vitinho, Mengão won the competition for the second time and the 23rd trophy for its vast collection.
