Undefined - Flamengo's next opponent, Universidad de Chile, has already arrived in Rio de Janeiro, but will not be able to train at Maracanã, the venue for the match, which is scheduled for this Wednesday (07.04) at 21:50 pm. With the stadium's pitch and locker room flooded, both teams are awaiting a decision on whether or not to hold the match. If the pitch is not fit for play, the match could be played on Thursday (08.04).

"Flamengo is still waiting for an official decision from the South American. The game is only tomorrow night and there is enough time to reverse the situation, if the situation in the city and at Maracanã improves. If the rain doesn't fall too heavily, the stadium will be able to host the game without any problems," said vice president of football Marcos Braz, in an interview with Rádio Brasil.

According to Rio de Janeiro's Sports Secretary, Márcia Lins, not only the situation of Maracanã will be evaluated, but also that of the entire neighborhood surrounding the stadium.

"We're also going to assess the stadium's surroundings. We're going to talk to the CBF and Flamengo to see if the game can be held. Patrícia Amorim called me and we talked. Both the stadium and the surrounding area need to be assessed," he concluded.
