In a draw held on Wednesday afternoon (9), at the CBF headquarters, it was decided that Flamengo will face Botafogo-PB in the third phase of the 2025 Copa do Brasil. The first leg will be played in Paraíba and the return leg, at Maracanã, in the weeks of April 30 and May 21.

Flamengo is the current Copa do Brasil champion. In 2024, the red-and-black team won its fifth title against Atlético-MG, winning both games. At Maracanã, the "Mais Querido" won 3-1, with two goals from Gabi and one from Arrascaeta. At Arena MRV, Ecuadorian Plata scored in the 1-0 triumph.
