Preparations for the Rio derby enter the final stretch and the red-black squad receives the final adjustments before the match against Botafogo, valid for the 4th round of the Brazilian Championship.
Before heading out onto the field, the athletes completed pre-workout activities at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), which included muscle activation and injury prevention exercises. After arriving at Field 5, they began their warm-up routine with variable-speed runs.

Next came tactical training. During the session, coach Zé Ricardo guided the players on offensive movement and defensive reorganization. Set pieces were also practiced, including free kicks and penalties, as well as finishing exercises.

After training this Saturday (03), the red-black delegation will travel to Volta Redonda, where the classic against Botafogo will take place. The match will take place at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, with the ball rolling from 11 am.
