Marked in history! With their third Brazilian Super Cup 2025 title, defeating Botafogo last Sunday, Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique reached the incredible milestone of 14 trophies won by the club. After training on Tuesday (4), the athletes received a tribute at Ninho do Urubu, being presented with the number 14 jersey by the executive director of football, José Boto, in reference to the titles won with the Sacred Mantle. They gave a press conference to talk about the strong start to the season. 

"I'm very happy, once again, to be making my mark on the club's history, starting the year off on the right foot. May we have a year with more titles, achieving our goals, and that's what the entire football department wants," said the striker.

Arrascaeta, Mengão's new number 10, commented on the great start to the season and the importance of always staying focused on winning new titles throughout the year.

"We have to focus on each competition. Now, the Carioca. You're the ones who make the statistics. At the beginning of every year, expectations are very high. Sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't. We had a very good preseason, but that's no guarantee we'll win everything we play. We'll try, give our best, so that this year is a victory. We know we'll compete against great teams, but I have complete confidence in our group, and we'll try to play every game like a final," said the Uruguayan.
