Final adjustments completed! Flamengo held its final training session today at Ninho do Urubu, ahead of its match against América-MG in the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship. Coach Jorge Sampaoli conducted some tactical work on the field to determine the starting eleven that will take the field tomorrow at 16 p.m.
Coming from a draw in the last match, Rubro-Negro needs a victory to maintain second place and try to close the gap to leader Botafogo.
Flamengo and América-MG have faced each other 33 times, with the home team winning twenty times.
It is worth remembering that Mais Querido has not lost to the visitor for 23 years, the last defeat was in 2000.
